Analysis of additively manufactured PLA containing notches using Failure Assessment Diagrams

چکیده

This paper provides a methodology for the estimation of load-bearing capacity additively manufactured (AM) PLA specimens that may be applied to both cracked and notched conditions. The is based on use Failure Assessment Diagrams (FADs), which are, in practice, main fracture-plastic collapse assessment tool provided by structural integrity procedures. When dealing with notch-type defects, requires, additionally, application notch correction it Theory Critical Distances (TCD) Creager-Paris stress distribution ahead crack-tip. results show FAD (alone, conditions, or combination TCD conditions) can successfully this AM polymer.

assessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea

data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...

Review of Batteryless Wireless Sensors Using Additively Manufactured Microwave Resonators

The significant improvements observed in the field of bulk-production of printed microchip technologies in the past decade have allowed the fabrication of microchip printing on numerous materials including organic and flexible substrates. Printed sensors and electronics are of significant interest owing to the fast and low-cost fabrication techniques used in their fabrication. The increasing am...

Mechanical Properties of Additively Manufactured Thick Honeycombs

Honeycombs resemble the structure of a number of natural and biological materials such as cancellous bone, wood, and cork. Thick honeycomb could be also used for energy absorption applications. Moreover, studying the mechanical behavior of honeycombs under in-plane loading could help understanding the mechanical behavior of more complex 3D tessellated structures such as porous biomaterials. In ...
